"Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus." 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 We're all starting to feel it. There are so many things that are weighing down on us from so many sides: school, work, people, circumstances, people, maybe a little more of people. I have needed words of encouragement myself in these categories as college work piles on, and I cannot seem to find His voice amongst countless others. Here is His voice for you today, His words of encouragement. Are you worried about grades? "Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." Matthew 6:34 Are you stressed out about next year? "Instead you ought to say, 'If it is the Lord's will, we will live and do this or that." James 4:15 Are you feeling impatient with friends? family? or people in general? "Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry." James 1:19 "And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love." 1 Corinthians 13:13 "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another." John 13:34 Or in your circumstances? "But take heart! I have overcome the world!" John 16:33 Are you exhausted or run down? "Even youths grow tired and weary and young men stumble and fall, but those who put their hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." Isaiah 40:30-31 Do you feel alone in all of this? "And surely I AM with you always, to the very end of age." Matthew 28:20 I hope that this is as much of an encouragement for you as it is for me today. You are all so dearly loved.
